Vivo has launched its new mid-range Y-series device — the Vivo Y400 — in Nepal. This article will discuss everything about the latest Vivo Y400, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.
Vivo Y400 Overview
Display and Design

The Y400 features a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage. Similarly, the peak brightness hits 1,800 nits, so visibility should be no issue even outdoors. It also carries an IP68/IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, which is something you don’t see often in this price range.
Performance and Software
The performance is perhaps the most disappointing aspect of this device. At this price, one would expect a chipset of the same caliber. However, Vivo has opted for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 685, which is not only outdated but also lacks strong long-term performance. That said, it can still handle basic social media use reasonably well. Similarly, It runs Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15.
Camera and Battery
On the back, the phone offers a 50MP Sony IMX852 main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. There’s no word on the front camera yet. Powering it all is a massive 6,000mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. It comes in two color options: Purple Twilight and Tropical Green.
