Vivo Y29 launched in Nepal with Snapdragon 685 SoC

Vivo has launched the Vivo Y29 in Nepal. But it's the 4G version that has landed here with SD 685 SoC. Here’s a look at the key specifications of the vivo Y29 5G, including its official price in Nepal.

Design and Display

The Y29 features an identical design to the 5G iteration. Just below the camera module, there is an Aura light as well for some low-light portraits. Most importantly, this guy secures an Anti-Drop armor design for extra sturdiness. On the display side, it features a 6.68-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It provides 1,000 nits peak brightness and a pixel density of 264 PPI, making it suitable for various types of media consumption.

Performance and Software

Under the hood, the Vivo Y29 is powered by Snapdragon 685 SoC, a four-year-old chip announced in December 2020.  It runs on Android 15, customized with the Funtouch OS 15. The device offers up to 6/8GB of RAM and storage options include up to 128/256GB.

Camera Setup

The phone has an 8MP front camera housed in a centered punch-hole. On the rear, it boasts a 50MP primary camera along with a 2MP secondary sensor. A flash and a ring light for notifications and music playback are also included.
