The Y29 features an identical design to the 5G iteration. Just below the camera module, there is an Aura light as well for some low-light portraits. It provides 1,000 nits peak brightness and a pixel density of 264 PPI, making it suitable for various types of media consumption.

Under the hood, the Vivo Y29 is powered by Snapdragon 685 SoC, a four-year-old chip announced in December 2020. It runs on Android 15, customized with the Funtouch OS 15. The device offers up to 6/8GB of RAM and storage options include up to 128/256GB.
