Tecno just launched its latest budget-friendly smartphone, the Spark Go 5G, in India. And it looks suspiciously similar to the leaked renders of the upcoming iPhone 17 Air. So here is everything about the new Tecno Spark Go 5G, including its expected price in Nepal.
Tecno Spark Go 5G Overview
Design and display
As I mentioned above, the Tecno Spark GO 5G has a very iPhone 17 Air-inspired design. With a rectangular camera bar that almost extends to the edge of the phone. It is also IP64 dust/splash resistant, while Tecno sells this phone in three colors: Sky Blue, Turquoise Green, and Ink Black.
Up front, you get a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display with up to a 120 Hz refresh rate. It hits a peak brightness of 670 nits, which is notably lower than some recent budget phones like POCO M7 4G (850 nits).
Performance and Battery
When it comes to performance, Tecno Spark Go 5G houses an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6400 (6nm) chipset. Alongside 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while it runs on Android 15-based HiOS 15.
And this budget phone is packed with a lot of AI features as well. Like Tecno's very own AI assistant, Ella. The Ella AI assistant supports different Indian languages like Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, Gujarati, and Bangla. Whereas it even comes bundled with an AI writing assistant and Google's Circle to Search tool.
This handset brings Tecno's "No Network Communication" feature as well. We first saw this feature on the recently launched Tecno Spark Go 2, and what it does is essentially allow Tecno users to make phone calls or send messages without cellular or WiFi service.

Camera and other features
Tecno Spark Go 5G has a single 50MP camera at the back that supports 2K video recording at 30fps. While for selfies, you get a 5MP sensor. The Tecno Spark Go 5G is also the first device under INR 10,000 to support 4x4 MIMO technology, claimed to boost network speed up to 73%.
On the other hand, this budget phone has a massive 6,000 mAh battery. It supports 18W charging, and you get a charger inside the box itself. And despite such a big battery, the Tecno Spark Go 5G is just 7.99mm thick and weighs around 194 grams.

In India, the Tecno Spark Go 5G will go on sale from August 21 through Flipkart for INR 9,999. And when it arrives in Nepal, we expect the price of Tecno Spark Go 5G to be around NPR 17,999.
