Tecno Pova 7 is now official with Dimensity 7300 chipset

Tecno has added a new model to its Pova lineup with the announcement of the Pova 7. The phone brings a 144Hz screen, a Dimensity 7300 chipset, and a big 6000mAh battery. It also features a backlight design Tecno calls the Delta Light Interface. Display and Design

Tecno Pova 7 comes with a 6.78-inch IPS LCD screen. The display supports 144Hz refresh rate and 1080 x 2460 resolution. It has a peak brightness of up to 900 nits.

The phone has an LED strip on the back called the Delta Light Interface. It sits around the rear camera and lights up during calls, music, or while charging.

Performance and Software

It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chip built on a 4nm process. You get an octa-core CPU and Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. In terms of software, it runs HiOS 15 based on Android 15.

Camera Setup

On the back, the Pova 7 has a 50MP main camera. Tecno hasn't said much about the second lens. Up front, there's a 13MP selfie camera placed inside the display.

It has stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There’s support for high-res audio, both wired and wireless. Connectivity options include NFC, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB-C, and even an infrared port. Pova 7 supports dual Nano-SIM and is rated IP64 for dust and water resistance. It comes with features like Circle to Search, Ella AI assistant, and DeepSeek integration.

Tecno Pova 7 starts at INR 14,999 for the 8/128GB model and INR 15,999 for the 8/256GB. It goes on sale in India starting July 10 via Flipkart. When it launches in Nepal, it would start at no less than NPR 28,800.
