Design and Display

The design of the Pova 6 Neo 5G looks nowhere similar to its predecessor. While the Pova 6 Neo has a larger, rectangular camera module the 5G version comes with a circular module. Moreover, the Pova 6 Neo gives a more "gaming phone" aesthetic, while the new one appeals to a broader audience with a minimalist design. With a matte finish, it is available in three monochromatic colors: Midnight Shadow, Azure Sky, and Aurora Cloud. For security, it includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Moreover, there is also an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance. On the front, it boasts a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution.

Performance and Battery

The Pova 6 Neo 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, which includes 2 Cortex-A76 cores and 6 Cortex-A55 cores. Additionally, the phone runs on Android 14 with HiOS 14.5, promising reliable performance over an extended period. Moreover, for storage, it is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The RAM can be virtually expanded up to 16GB using additional storage resources. The internal storage is expandable up to 1TB via an external microSD card. Additionally, battery gets a downgrade with a smaller 5,000mAh cell while the previous version had 7,000mAh.
