      realme P3 Lite 5G Overview

      Display and Design

Realme P3 Lite 5G Display and Design

The phone packs a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD display but features a 120Hz refresh rate screen. But, to be honest, the 120Hz is now hardly a headline feature anymore (see even the iPhone 17 has it). It has the usual IPS panel look, whereas it is 7.94mm thick and it weighs 197 grams. From a design standpoint, the phone uses plastic for both the back and the frame, keeping things simple, with three cameras arranged vertically on the module. Moreover, the phone comes with IP64 dust and water resistance and military-grade shock resistance certification.

      Performance and Software

Under the hood is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset with 2x Cortex-A76 cores at 2.4GHz and 6x Cortex-A55 cores at 2GHz. This chipset is hardly foreign to us, as we had have plenty of experience using this chipset, it was present in older Samsung smartphones like Galaxy A16 5G and M16 5G, wheras devices like A5 Pro and T4 Lite 5G as well.  Its a basic chipset that can handle day to day task quite well. But anything other than that, say gaming and extensive multitasking, the chipset starts acting quite pathetically. Similarly, RAM goes up to 6GB, plus an extra 12GB via dynamic RAM expansion. Storage is 128GB and expandable via microSD up to 2TB. The phone runs Android 15 with realme UI 6.0 out of the box.

      Camera and Battery

You get a 32MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front camera tucked into a punch-hole. The real pull is the 6000mAh battery with 45W fast charging i guess, which is exactly the kind of feature budget phone buyers are hunting for these days.

      Extras

A side-mounted fingerprint sensor takes care of security, and connectivity covers 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.3, and GPS. All things considered, Realme is pretty popular in Nepal’s budget segment. Mid-range still leans toward Redmi, Samsung, and a few others, but Realme keeps its foothold here with phones like this.
