Realme just dropped the 15T in Nepal, and it's their attempt to grab some of that massive battery phone hype, which has now become a norm at this point. The phone, meanwhile, is looking like it will compete with the likes of the OnePlus Nord CE 5 and the Infinix GT 30 Pro. But without further ado, let’s dive into this article, where we will discuss everything about the latest Realme 15T, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.
Realme 15T Overview
Battery and Charging
As I have already discussed above, Realme is absolutely jumping on the 7000mAh bandwagon with this one. Since the end of 2024, an unprecedented round of mobile phone battery arms race has been launched in the Chinese mobile phone market. Major mobile phone manufacturers have launched new phones with amazing battery capacity to meet demand for long battery life. Chinese brands, including Realme, are all pushing these massive batteries for 2025 (List of Mobile Phones with 7000mAh Battery right now in the market is more than 50 phones. So, 7000mAh phones are everywhere now to the point that if you throw a stone randomly in one of the South-Asian/East-Asian countries, there’s a high chance that it will land upon one of these owners. Coming back to the Realme 15T, it is the third phone in their 15 series, but it's the budget-focused option. The 15T inherits this massive 7000mAh battery from its siblings but dials down the charging to 60W instead of the 80W speeds on the regular 15 and 15 Pro. With a battery this size, you're probably not charging it that often anyway. And what people want is uninterrupted battery backup. We all love high refresh rate displays, AI camera tricks, and fast chipsets, but all of that becomes pointless when your phone dies halfway through the day.
Display and Design
You're getting a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The peak brightness hits 4,000 nits. According to teasers posted on the official X account, the phone weighs 181 grams and has a slim profile of just 7.79mm. To say the least, that's indeed impressive considering the massive battery inside. It also has IP66/68/69 water resistance, so the phone is built to withstand dust, immersion, and even hot water jets.
The in-display fingerprint sensor is also there, which you'd expect at this price point. Three color options are available: Flowing Silver, Silk Blue, and Suit Titanium. The titanium option definitely looks better and fancier than the rest.
Performance and Software
MediaTek Dimensity 6400 is a 3-year-old Dimensity 6100+ in disguise, which is disappointing. But let's see what this chip can actually do. In benchmark tests, the Dimensity 6400 scores with AnTuTu 10 at 437,112, Geekbench 6 single-core at 819, and multi-core at 2,116. So, those numbers put it in "decent for daily use" territory, although its hardly a gaming phone. Built on TSMC's 6nm process node, Dimensity 6400 will still manage to do gaming in lower settings, using up to 19% less power when gaming compared to competitive chipsets.
You get 8GB of RAM paired with either 128GB or 256GB storage. The phone runs Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0 on top. Talking more on a hardware perspective, the realme 15T features a Large 6050mm square AirFlow VC cooling system with thermal graphite.
There's a 50MP main shooter with f/1.8 aperture on the back, alongside a 2MP depth sensor. The front gets a 50MP selfie camera, which, although it cannot be said enough, without knowing the exact type of sensor it uses. Similarly, talking about usual AI gimmicks, It also introduces AI features such as AI Edit Genie, whose function is to let users change the color of clothes and other objects in photos.
The Realme 15T starts at NPR 39,999 for the 8/256GB variant and NPR 49,999 for the 12GB/512GB model. You can buy this phone from authorized stores and platforms.
