Vivo V40 Lite Overview
Design and Display
Staring at the design, the Vivo V40 Lite 4G share the same design and build as its 5G counterpart. You are looking at a flat frame boxy design with 7.79mm thickness and 188 grams weight. Likewise, there is a horizontal camera cutout with the two camera sensors and an Aura light flash aligned. Vivo calls this Diamond Cushion Cutout camera. Other than that, you also get an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. As for the display, V40 Lite 4G boast a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It can be used with wet hands too for added convenience. Other features include 1800nits peak brightness, P3 color gamut support, and 394 PPI density.
Camera
Getting to the optics, here as well, both phones share the same camera setup. There is a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera and an 8MP ultrawide unit on the back. Upfront, you get a 32MP selfie camera with ultrawide angle selfies. Vivo has come up with some AI features this time such as AI Aura Light Portrait, AI Erase, AI Enhance, and such. In terms of videos, both phones can shoot 4K res videos at 30fps.
