Design and Display

The Tecno Spark 20 has a similar aesthetics to the Tecno Spark 20C with a rounded rectangular shape and a flat design. It sports a squircle camera island on the back with three camera cutouts with metallic rings. Meanwhile, it is available in two builds and four colour options. Talking of the screen, we are getting a 6.56-inch LCD panel with a centrally located hole-punch camera cutout. It is also a 90Hz refresh rate screen with an HD+ resolution. The Tecno Spark 20 also boasts an IP53 rating for dust and water resistance.

Performance

Under the hood, Tecno Spark 20 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor. It is a budget gaming chipset with a peak clock speed of 2,000 MHz. Meanwhile, on the GPU side, you get an Arm Mali-G52 MC2 GPU that can clock in at a maximum of 1,000 MHz. Furthermore, the Tecno Spark 20 comes with a memory and storage combo of up to 8 GB + 256 GB. It also offers 8 GB of virtual RAM extension while storage expansion capacity is unknown. On the software front, it comes with HiOS 13 based on Android 13.

In terms of optics, the latest Tecno offering comes with a 50MP shooter on the back. It is coupled with an unspecified auxiliary unit, possibly filling in the role of a depth sensor. Similarly, on the front, this phone ships with a 32MP sensor with 40mm focal length. Powering the Tecno Spark 20 is a 5,000 mAh cell that can be juiced up with an 18W charger. It comes with dual-band WiFi, 4G, as well as Bluetooth v5.2 support for wireless connectivity. Meanwhile, it has a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C for wired connections.
