Marshall Middleton Overview:

Design

With a leather pattern all over the body and the Marshall logo at the front, the Middleton expresses its brand identity. Behind the logo is the metal grille. And there is a removable carrying strap to easily carry it around. The speaker itself isn't as heavy as well. Middleton weighs around 1.8 kg and measures 109 x 230 x 95 mm. Furthermore, it has an IP67 rating, protecting it from dust and water. Controls are all on the top side. However, there are only two choices: Black & Brass or Cream.

Audio and Connectivity

Middleton has two woofers and two tweeters. Both the 3-inch woofers are rated at 15W power and two 0.6" tweeters at 10W RMS. Additionally, there are two 20W amplifiers complementing the woofers and two 10W Class D amplifiers for the tweeters. On the connection side of things, you get Bluetooth 5.1. You can also connect your device using an aux-in port. Middleton also supports the Marshall Bluetooth app, which lets you customize your listening experience.

Battery

On the other side, the battery on this device lasts more than 20 hours on a single charge. Charging is also quick, giving you 2 hours of playtime just in 20 minutes of plugging the Middleton in. It charges fully in 4.5 hours.
