Design and Build 

ThinkPad L13 has a hybrid build featuring an Aluminium top and GFRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer) plastic at the bottom. The chassis encloses a 13.3" WUXGA anti-glare display with 45% NTSC coverage. The L13 features an LED backlit keyboard, a Windows Precision touchPad, and a familiar Trackpoint. It is light at just 1.26 kg or 2.78 pounds. It is 305mm in width, 218mm deep, and has a height of 17mm.

Performance and Memory

ThinkPad L13 Gen 3 is powered by Intel's 12th gen Core i5-1235U processor. It has 10 Cores and 12 Threads. The chip has a base frequency of 3.3 GHz and a max boost frequency of 4.4 GHz. On the GPU front, you have integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics. Lenovo ThinkPad L13 comes with 16GB of dual-channel soldered DDR4 RAM. This means you can't upgrade the  RAM any further. You get 512GB SSD with Opal 2.0 security on purchase, which can be further expanded to 1TB.

Battery and Connectivity

What powers the machine is a 46Wh Li-Po battery. It comes with a 65W power adapter in the box. As for connectivity, you get a USB-C 3.2 Gen2 port and a USB 4 (Thunderbolt 4) port that supports data transfer, Power Delivery 3.0, and DisplayPort 1.4. You also get 2 USB Type-A ports and 1 HDMI port. A 3.5mm headphone/microphone jack is also present to meet your audio needs. On the wireless side of things, you get WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1.
