Design

According to JBL, the Flip 6 comes with a bold JBL logo to denote its bolder audio. Additionally, the speaker features a smoother edge, and that's all for the redesign. Moving on, it is IP67 dust and waterproof, making it suitable for environments with dust and water. Furthermore, the available colors are grey, black, teal, blue, and red. You won't miss out on color variations with JBL.

Audio and Connectivity

Dual drivers are used in Flip 6, one of which is a 45 x 80mm woofer and another is a 16mm tweeter. The former outputs 20W, while the latter is rated at 10W RMS for a maximum of 30W power. Moreover, there are two passive radiators for a powerful bass. As for connectivity, the JBL Flip 6 comes embedded with Bluetooth 5.1. It also boasts support for PartyBoost, enabling users to link two or more compatible speakers for an immersive audio experience. In addition, this speaker can link with up to two devices simultaneously. The JBL Portable app further enhances the user's control over sound customization.

Battery

The JBL Flip 6 fuels up using a 17.28Wh (3.6V/4800mAh) battery, promising a music playback duration of over 12 hours. When it comes to recharging, this speaker takes only around 2 and a half hours to reach a full charge through its USB Type-C port. Notably, the Type-C port is designed with protective features to safeguard against damage and alert users in case of moisture contact.
