As mentioned earlier, the Huawei Watch Fit Special Edition is a sweet spot between a fitness band and a smartwatch. As such, the design is somewhere in between too. It is rectangular with a slightly curved screen and has one button on the right for controls. It comes with 5ATM water resistance and ships in three colours: Starry Black, Nebula Pink, and Forest Green. Moving on to the build, you get a polymer casing. This means you miss out on the more premium metal case you normally get on a smartwatch of similar pricing. However, you get more reliable health tracking in exchange, so there's that. The strap on the Huawei Watch Fit Special Edition is silicone while for the screen you get AMOLED. The screen measures 1.64 inches diagonally while stretching 280 x 456 pixels in resolution.

Features and the rest

The Huawei Watch Fit Special Edition comes with a plethora of features. Starting with customisation, you get over 10,000 downloadable watch faces. You can also generate a watch face to match your outfit by taking your photo through the phone. For health tracking, it packs a 6-axis IMU sensor along with an optical heart rate sensor. With this, you can track over 100 different types of workouts, out of which five can be automatically detected. This watch has a built-in GPS for further accurate tracking of your activity. Other than that, it also offers vitals tracking, sleep tracking, stress relief, and female health management. It comes stacked with health-tracking features given that it is more of a fitness band. As such, it is a bit lacking in the smartwatch-esque feature. The Huawei Watch Fit Special Edition does not have a microphone or a speaker. Hence, you cannot receive or make calls through it. You can decline the call and send a quick reply though. Apart from that, it comes with a bunch of other features like music control, find phone, alarm, etc. For connectivity, you get WiFi 2.4GHz and Bluetooth 5.0 combo. Meanwhile, it is compatible with devices running on Android 6.0 or iOS 9.0, and later. Lastly, it offers a maximum of nine days of usage.
