Design & Display

From the outside, the Huawei Watch Fit's case comprises polymer fiber with a textured matte finish. There is a physical button placed on the right side of the watch. And on the front, you get a 1.64-inch rectangular display alongside a bezel, corresponding to a 70% screen-to-body ratio. Further, this 2.5D panel at the front comes with a 280 x 456 resolution and 326 PPI. Furthermore, the smartwatch is available in four color options–Graphite Black, Mint Green, Cantaloupe Orange, and Sakura Pink.

Hardware and Software

Here, Huawei has not mentioned the specific chipset used. However, what is mentioned is that the Watch Fit ships with 4GB of storage. On the sensor side of things, you get a 6-axis IMU sensor, an optical heart rate sensor, a capacitive sensor, and an ambient light sensor. It even has a GPU integrated into it. In terms of software, the Huawei Watch Fit comes installed with the company's own Lite OS. The users can connect to the wearable using the Huawei Health App if they have the device running Android 5.0 or later/ iOS 9.0 or later. The device supports Bluetooth 5.0 + LE as a connectivity option.

Health Features

The Huawei Watch Fit comes with support for 96 different work modes, eleven of which are professional ones. The watch itself can auto-detect some of them. These help you track your heart rate, calories, and duration of each session. Additionally, 12 animated video demonstrations for quick workouts and 44 standard movement demonstrations are provided as a tutorial. As with other fitness trackers, it provides 24-hour heart monitoring, SpO2 detection, sleep monitoring, a stress tracker, and a menstruation cycle tracker.

Other Features

Other than that, the Huawei Watch Fit can inform you of calls, SMS, calendar events, reminders, and even some major notifications from social media platforms. Similarly, the remote camera shutter and music control can be handled by this device in your hand.

Battery

The company considers usage with TruSleep and heart rate monitoring enabled 24/7, the screen checked 200 times per day, and 30 minutes of workout per week as typical usage. If you have a similar kind of habit, the battery should last you around 10 days straight.
