HP OmniBook 5 16–AG1175 2025 (Ryzen AI 7 350,16GB, 512GB, 16″ IPS Touch)

HP has launched its new OmniBook 5 in Nepal with AMD’s Ryzen AI Processor with cool AI-based interesting features.

Design and Display

Okay, starting in terms of Design, the HP OmniBook 5 weighs 1.79 kg and measures 18.6 mm thick. For a 16-inch laptop, the weight and dimensions are fairly standard. HP has also used recycled metal for the lid, keyboard frame, and hinge cap. And since it’s a big 16-inch laptop, this guy also has a dedicated numpad.

Moving on display, here we get a 16-inch IPS Touch display with a 2K (1920 x 1200) resolution. Some of the notable features of this display are that it has 300nits of peak brightness, an anti-fingerprint coating, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and 62.5% sRGB color coverage.

Performance and Memory

Inside the OmniBook 5, we get a Ryzen AI 7 350AI processor with  8 “Zen 5” cores and 16 threads. For graphics, we get a powerful integrated Radeon 860M GPU, and the device comes with 16GB of DDR5 (LPDDR5x-7500 MT/s) and a 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD (PCIe Gen 4 ×4).

For AI tasks and processing, the OmniBook 5 comes with a dedicated NPU with up to 50 TOPS of performance for on-device AI workloads. On top of that, HP has included its own AI Companion tool as well, which works offline to help analyze documents and improve system performance.

Connectivity and battery

The Omnibook 5 supports WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3. Whereas it has a couple of USB-C connections with up to 10Gbps data rate, alongside a couple of USB-A, an HDMI 2.1, and one 3.5mm audio jack.

Powering the laptop is a 59Wh battery. It fuels up via a 65W adapter, which HP says can take the laptop to 50% in just 30 minutes.
