Design and Display

The Honor X8b comes with a squircle camera island on the back with three camera cutouts and a flash. It has a flat frame and features a centre-aligned pill-shaped camera cutout on the front. Looking at the overall design, it is clear that the Honor X8b has taken cues from the iPhones. Other than that, it is available in Glamorous Green, Titanium Silver, and Midnight Black colour options. The first option has a leather finish, whereas the others have a glossy finish. On the front, we have a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a 20.1:9 aspect ratio. It also boasts an FHD+ resolution with 1,080 x 2,412 pixels. It offers a peak brightness of 2000 nits, 3240Hz PWM dimming, and a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut.

Performance

Under the hood, the Honor X8b comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset. It is a 6nm processor that can achieve a peak clock speed of 2.4 GHz. It comes with 8GB memory and three different storage options: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. Here, you can virtually extend an additional 8GB of RAM. There is no information on if storage can be expanded. On the software front, the Honor X8b comes with MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 13.

Camera and the rest

This smartphone comes with a huge 108MP primary camera coupled with a 5MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro lens on the back. This camera offers you with 3x lossless zoom. In the meantime, it features a 50MP shooter alongside a flash under the centre-aligned pill-shaped camera cutout on the front. The Honor X8b has a 4,500 mAh Lithium-polymer cell with 35W charging capability. In terms of wireless connectivity, it comes with dual SIM, 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, and five-way navigation support. On the other hand, we have USB 2.0 Type-C for wired connection. The Honor X8b offers added security through 2D face recognition and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
