Gigabyte G5 MF (Core i5 12th Gen, RTX 4050, 15.6" FHD)

Gigabyte G5 MF is another entry under the G5 series for this year by Gigabyte. There are KF and MF variants of G5 and while they both share almost identical specs, there are some performance tweaks here and there. Performance

The main difference between the two laptops under the G5 series lies in their performance. The G5 MF model is equipped with an Intel i5-12450H CPU and a dedicated NVIDIA RTX 4050 GPU. In contrast, the G5 KF model has an i5-12500H CPU and an RTX 4060 GPU. Both laptops come with the option to configure up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB M.2 SSD to complement their chipsets. Gigabyte has integrated WINDFORCE Infinity cooling technology here in this laptop as well. The cooling system consists of 59 blade fans and 4 heat pipes, and 4 exhaust vents.

Design and Display

Moving on, the laptop has a matte black finish, typical of a gaming laptop. But there's a lightly textured pattern on one corner of the lid to give it that gaming asthetics. The laptop is also pretty light measuring just 1.9 kg. Up front, there's a 15.6-inch FHD display with a 144Hz refresh rate, like Gigabyte the G5 KF.

Ports and Others

Gigabyte makes use of the back of the laptop to give you all the ports, including HDMI, a Mini DisplayPort, two USB type-A and two USB type-C ports, an ethernet port, and a MicroSD card reader. t is fueled by a 54Wh battery and it charges via a 150W AC adapter.
