Design and display

The Asus TUF Gaming F16 with an aluminum lid comes in at just 17.99 mm at its thinnest and weighs 2.2 kg. The hinge of the device can rotate up to 180 degrees as well. Along with that, it comes with the military-grade toughness as well.

As per the display, the device is a 16-inch WUXGA IPS with a 16:10 aspect ratio. It offers up to a 165 Hz refresh rate and anti-glare display as well. The screen coverage is 100% sRGB with a brightness of 400 nits. There is also NVIDIA G-SYNC support.

Performance and graphics

Powering the device is the previous generation “Raptor Lake” processor, Intel Core i7-14650HX. This processor consists of 16 cores and 24 threads with a max clock speed of 5.2 GHz for the performance core. It can also be paired with the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor from Intel’s Arrow Lake-HX series, launching in Nepal in the future.

Whereas, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 powers the graphics with DLSS 4, Multi Frame Generation, and advanced ray tracing.

This powerhouse features a 90 Wh battery, which can be charged via a 240 W AC charger or 100 W USB Type-C. The device starts with a 512GB SSD with an extra M.2 slot. Along with that for the memory, there is 16 GB of RAM with an extra slot as well.
