Design

The Soundcore Flare 2 maintains a similar appearance to its predecessor, with some subtle changes. Notable additions include a power button on the top and a BassUp button on the side. The cylindrical shape, dimensions, and weight closely resemble the original Flare. The Flare 2 measures 89×89×160mm in size and weighs 585g. It boasts an IPX7 rating for water splash protection and offers six different lighting modes, an upgrade from the Flare's five.

Audio

The Flare 2 continues the tradition of 360° sound, but it steps up the game with dual 10W drivers, making it noticeably louder than its predecessor with 6W dual drivers. The highs can go as high as 20kHz, while the lows can get up to 50Hz. It also features a built-in microphone for making calls. What sets it apart is the 'BassUp' mode, activated by a dedicated button. Combined with a DSP chip and dual bass radiators, it promises to deliver twice the bass compared to its competitors.

Connectivity

In the connectivity department, Anker Soundcore Flare 2 incorporates Bluetooth 5.0. Notably, it introduces 'PartyCast' technology, claiming to synchronize over 100 speakers for a more powerful sound experience. This synchronization extends to both music and the lighting of connected Flare speakers. Additionally, using the Soundcore app provides access to various customization options for the Flare 2, including multiple light modes, EQ presets, and remote settings toggles.
