Design and Display

The new Spin has a modern design with minimal bezels. Being a 2-in-1, it can also fold on itself to be used like a tablet. The left side features a retractable stylus that you can use to navigate the interface. Moreover, it is relatively compact weighing about 1.6 kg. 

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, the new Acer Spin 5 (2023) is powered by a 13th Gen Intel i5-1335U processor. This 10 Core (2P + 8E) 12 Thread CPU has boost clock frequencies of 3.4 GHz and 4.6 GHz for the efficiency and performance cores respectively. Furthermore, it is complemented by Intel’s integrated Iris Xe Graphics with 80 Execution Units (EU) at 1.25 GHz (max).   Movimemory,  you get 16GB of DDR4 RAM alongside a 512GB M.2 SSD. As for the OS, the laptop boots on Windows 11 Home out of the box. 

Battery and Connectivity

The new Spin 5 (2023) features a 56Wh 4-cell Lithium battery. You can charge it via the included 65W Type-C adapter. For wired connections, you get two USB Type-C ports, two USB Type-A port, and an HDMI port.
