OPPO Watch S Launched in China with 3000 Nits Display and 10-Day Battery

OPPO launched the Watch S smartwatch in China alongside the Find X9 series and Pad 5 tablet at its October 2025 event. The smartwatch features an AMOLED display and battery life that keeps running for ten days. Display and Design

Starting off the display aspect, the new Watch 'S' sports a circular 1.46-inch AMOLED display with a 464×464 resolution and 317 ppi pixel density. The display can reach a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. On the design side, Oppo provides a stainless steel dial that frames the watch, with dimensions measuring 44.98×44.98×8.9mm and a weight of just 35g without the strap.

On the right side, you will find a crown and a navigation button for controls. OPPO offers three color options: Vibrant Green (with a cloth strap), Rhythm Silver, and Racing Black (both with rubber straps). The Chinese company has rated the watch at 5ATM + IP68 for dust and water resistance.

Health Tracking Features

The Watch S packs multiple health sensors. These include an eight-channel optical heart rate sensor, a 16-channel optical pulse oximeter (SpO2) sensor, an ECG sensor, and a wrist temperature sensor. Its sleep tracking features include a 'snoring assessment', SpO2 level measurement, 'quality scoring', and your typical breathing rate monitoring. Other features cover heart rate monitoring, fall detection, menstrual cycle tracking, and daily activity reminders.

OPPO also included over 100 sports modes in the Watch S. The watch can automatically detect activities like cycling, running, swimming, walking, and rowing. It also features built-in AI sports coaching functionality.

Performance and Connectivity

The watch runs ColorOS Watch 7.1 and uses a BES2800BP chipset with 4GB EMMC storage. It works with devices running Android 10 or later and iOS 14 or newer.

For connectivity, the watch supports Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band L1 + L5 GPS, BeiDou, Galileo, GLONASS, OZSS, and NFC. Onboard sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, air pressure sensor, and ambient light sensor.

Battery

Now, coming to the battery, the Watch S packs a 339mAh battery. OPPO claims the battery can last up to 10 days under light use, seven days with regular use, and four days with the always-on display enabled. Charging the watch from 0 to 100 percent takes about 90 minutes, and a 10-minute charge provides up to 24 hours of usage.
