Motorola has officially listed the Motorola Edge 70 on its Polish and German websites, and turns out it's nothing but the global variant of the recently launched China-exclusive Motorola X70 Air. The device keeps the same ultrathin design but comes with little change compared to its Chinese counterpart. This article will discuss everything about the latest Motorola Edge 70, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability. Let's dive in!

      Motorola Edge 70 Overview

      Display and Design

      Motorola Edge 70 Design

The Motorola Edge 70 follows exactly the same design philosophy as the X70 Air, featuring a <6mm ultra-slim body and weighing around 159g, making it one of the thinnest phones globally. The device is available in three finishes: Gadget Grey, Lilly Pad, and Bronze Green, each with its own nylon-textured back. The phone’s frame is built from aircraft-grade aluminum, protected on the front by Gorilla Glass 7i, and tested for durability under MIL-STD 810H standards. The phone also features both IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance.

The display, however, is slightly smaller at 6.67 inches, instead of 6.7 inches of the X70 Air, but features the same Pantone-validated pOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 2712 × 1220 resolution.

      Performance and Software

Under the hood, the Edge 70 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, a 4nm mid-premium processor. Although the Chinese variant X70 Air featured a 3D vapor chamber for heat dissipation, the company has not mentioned whether it comes with the same feature or not. But anyway, you are getting 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of internal storage, while no other memory variants are listed. The device runs on Android 16 with Motorola’s latest custom Ui, providing 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security updates.

      Camera and Battery

      Motorola Edge 70 camera

The Motorola Edge 70 features a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP main (24mm, f/1.8) and a 50MP ultrawide (12mm, f/2.0) sensor with PDAF. And on the front, it houses another 50MP camera for selfies and video calls.

Similarly, you are getting a 4,800mAh battery powering this device, supporting 68W TurboPower fast charging and 15W wireless charging. The battery is also comparitvely large if we look at Samsung S26 Edge or iPhone Air.  Motorola also claims up to 29 hours of video playback, 66 hours of music, 10 hours of social media use, and around 50 hours of total battery life, based on EU energy data.
