After all the rumors and leaks, Motorola has finally launched its latest smartwatch. The new Moto Watch 100 is the company's first smartwatch since the last Moto 360 back in 2019. In this post, we will be discussing the Moto Watch 100 in more detail, including its specs, features, expected price, and availability in Nepal.
Moto Watch 100 Overview:
Design and Display
Moto Watch 100 sports a 1.3" circular LCD panel enclosed inside a 42mm silver/black aluminum case. Interestingly, the official product page says the watch has Always-on Display, which is not possible on an LCD panel—well, not exactly impossible. Thus, it has fueled confusion regarding the true nature of the display.
Keeping that aside, the default strap is made of silicone and comes in a single black color option. However, users can easily replace it with other third-party straps. The Watch 100 also has 5ATM water resistance.
With the new Watch 100, Motorola is moving away from Google's WearOS. Instead, it runs on the company's proprietary Moto Watch OS. Motorola has not provided further information on the new OS, except that it, "dramatically increases battery life."
Talking about battery, the Moto Watch 100 sports a 355mAh battery. It supports Qualcomm's Quick Charge feature that can take the watch from 0 to 100% in just an hour. Motorola says you can expect up to 14 days of battery life on a "full-time use."
Moving on, this smartwatch covers all the basic health and fitness tracking features. It can track your heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2) level, sleep, and more. There are also 26 additional sports modes. It has a built-in GPS for trailing your workouts as well.
