Microsoft Surface Pro 12 goes official with Snapdragon X Plus and a 90Hz display

Microsoft has launched the Surface Pro 12, a new 2-in-1 device with a touchscreen and detachable keyboard. It comes with an updated processor, higher refresh rate, and stylus support. The Surface Pro 12 comes in a 2-in-1 form. The device features a 12-inch LCD touchscreen with support for a detachable keyboard. In addition, it includes an adjustable kickstand on the back.

It offers a 2,196 x 1,464 resolution display. Additionally, the screen supports a 90Hz refresh rate. The Surface Slim Pen is included in the box and can attach and charge magnetically.

The device features a 1080p front-facing camera with Windows Hello and a 10MP rear camera. Furthermore, it uses an aluminum chassis with no vent-based cooling system. It weighs 686g and is 7.8mm thick.

Performance and Software

The Surface Pro 12 runs on the Snapdragon X Plus chipset with 8 cores. It has 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and offers 256GB or 512GB storage options. In addition, it comes pre-installed with Windows 11 and Microsoft’s Copilot+ PC suite.
