The Desire Eye features a 5.2-inch Full HD Super LCD3 display with a pixel density of 424 ppi. It still has that trademark HTC BoomSound Front speakers.The Desire EYE is made of up plastic body but has IPX7 certification for protection from water, dust and every day wear and tear.

Under the hood, the Desire Eye is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.3GHz. There is 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with MicroSD card slot expandable up to 128GB.

The Desire EYE comes with a 13-megapixel camera Dual LED flash on the front.The front camera has a f/2.2 aperture with 20mm lens, which gives it a wider angle of shooting.The back has a 13-megapixel camera with Dual LED flash. It features a f/2.0 aperture with 28mm lens.
