Honor Power 2 to house a gigantic 10,000 mAh battery!

Back in April, Honor launched a mid-range smartphone — the Honor Power — with a huge 8,000 mAh battery. And now, we already have reports coming in claiming that the Honor Power 2 will take things a step further with a bigger 10,000 mAh battery.

What to expect from Honor Power 2

According to the reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, we now know that Honor has already started testing Honor Power 2 with a 10,000 mAh battery. And of course, what makes this feat super impressive is that it's not a rugged phone.

And instead, we expect it to maintain a slim profile as its predecessor, which measured just 7.98mm thick. While weighing just 209 grams. That is diabolical for a smartphone with a battery of that caliber!

Chipset combination

Another piece of the puzzle that has been revealed is the chipset that will be suited to the phone.

The rumor hints that Honor Power 2 will be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 8500. This yet-unannounced chip looks to be a sub-flagship processor built on TSMC's 4nm process, which reportedly scores a 2 million+ score in AnTuTu.

If that turns out to be true, the Power 2 will brag an impressive performance upgrade over the original Honor Power's Snapdragon 7 Gen 3.

When will Honor Power 2 launch?

Since Honor has already started testing this phone, we expect it to launch by the first half of 2026. It will likely follow a similar timeline to the Honor Power phone, which launched in April 2025.
