Fujifilm has officially launched the X-S20 mirrorless camera in Nepal. It brings several high-end features into a compact body, including 6K recording, AI-powered autofocus, and long battery life, making it one of the most capable APS-C cameras in its class. X-Processor 5 Performance
For the first time in the X-S series, the X-S20 is powered by the X-Processor 5—the same chip used in Fujifilm’s flagship X-H2S. This processor is twice as fast as the previous generation, enabling smarter autofocus, improved power efficiency, and reduced rolling shutter during video capture.
The X-S20’s autofocus system includes subject detection powered by deep learning. It can identify and track faces, eyes, animals, cars, motorbikes, birds, airplanes, and even drones. This makes it useful for various real-world use cases, including action, wildlife, and tech content creation.
Video Capabilities
The camera supports internal 6.2K video recording at 30fps, oversampled from the full sensor width. Additionally, it allows external recording of 12-bit ProRes RAW and Blackmagic RAW via its micro-HDMI port—something rarely found at this price segment.
For extended video shoots, the X-S20 is compatible with Fujifilm’s FAN-001 active cooling accessory. With this, 6K recording time can extend from 32 minutes to around 78 minutes—especially useful for interviews or long-form content.
Battery Life
The NP-W235 battery inside the X-S20 is rated for up to 750 shots (CIPA standard). In everyday usage without EVF or IBIS, many users have reported getting over 1,000 shots per charge. A dedicated Vlog mode gives users quick access to background defocus, product focus, and touchscreen control. The camera also includes both microphone and headphone jacks—a notable addition in this compact category.
Film Simulations
