One of the notable features of the Solo Buds is their impressive battery life. Users can expect up to 18 hours of playback on a single charge at moderate volume levels. Additionally, a 5-minute quick charge provides up to 1 hour of playback time. The earbuds are compatible with smartphones that support USB-C charging out, such as the iPhone 15 and many Android devices.

Sound Quality and Controls

While the Solo Buds do not offer active noise cancellation or hands-free Siri support, they are equipped with dual-layer transducers designed to minimize micro-distortions across the frequency curve. Beats claim that the sound quality is on par with the Beats Studio Buds Plus, and the voice-calling performance is comparable as well. For controls, each earbud has a physical "b" button that allows users to control playback and volume. Additionally, the press-and-hold action can be configured in the iOS settings or the Beats app.
