Asus recently refreshed its entry-level TUF gaming laptops for 2024. This includes the TUF F16, A15, and A16, the latter of which we are going to talk about here. So, let’s take a quick glance at the Asus TUF Gaming A16 (2024), its specifications, upgrades, expected price in Nepal, and availability.
Talking about the screen, you get up to a 2.5K IPS panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio. There’s a base FHD variant as well but both displays offer a high 165Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time, and full sRGB gamut coverage. There’s also support for NVIDIA’s G-Sync for tear-free gaming.
On the memory side, you are limited to 32 GB (16GB + 16GB) of DDR5 RAM and up to 2TB of Gen 4 SSD.

Design and Display
Asus has said that the TUF A16 (2024), alongside the F16, features a new ‘ultra-durable’ chassis design inspired by robust mecha in fiction. As such, it is quite durable with its MIL-STD-810H rating against shocks and impacts. Although the laptop is only available in Gray colorways, ‘Jaeger Gray’ offers a sculpted TUF logo while ‘Mecha Gray’ offers a subtler embossed one.Performance and Memory
Unlike last year’s all-AMD combo, the Asus TUF A16 (2024) features an AMD CPU with NVIDIA graphics. There’s AMD’s Ryzen 9 7845HX processor with 12 Cores and 24 Threads. Battery and Connectivity
Under the hood, a large 90Wh battery powers the Asus TUF A16 (2024). It features WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless connectivity. As for the ports, you are limited to USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds and don’t get USB 4 like in the smaller TUF A15 (2024). But there are two of them (2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C) alongside two USB-As, HDMI 2.1, an ethernet port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.- Also Read:
