Launched in December 2020, the Radeon RX 6900 XT is AMD's flagship consumer-grade graphics card. And in this post, we will look at the specs, features, availability, and price of the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics cards in Nepal.

AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT Overview:

Being a flagship graphics card, the AMD RX 6900 XT is a direct competitor to NVIDIA's RTX 3090, but it costs around $500 less. But it's important to note that the 6900 XT does not offer significant improvements over the 6800 XT. To compare, the RTX 3090 from NVIDIA has twice the VRAM and 20% more shader cores than the RTX 3080. However, AMD's upgrade on the RX 6900 XT comes in the form of 10% more shader cores than the 6800 XT only. The card is geared towards ultra-high frame rates and 4K gaming. Based on a 7nm process with Navi 21 GPU, RX 6900 XT features 80 compute units and a boost clock of up to 2250MHz. Then there are 5120 stream processors, 320 texture mapping units, and 128 ROPs as well. This card also comes with 80 raytracing acceleration cores. As for memory, the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT features 16GB of GDDR6 memory connected via a 256-bit memory interface with up to 512GB/s bandwidth. It connects via two 150W-rated 8-pin power connectors for 300W of total board power (TBP). AMD recommends a minimum 850W power supply for this graphics card.
