Design and Display 

The Acer Swift Go feels premium to the touch with an all-metal body and an OceanGlass trackpad. It’s also portable measuring just about 14.9 mm thick and weighing 1.6 kg making it ideal for everyday carry for work or study. Acer has opted for a minimal and modern look so there’s only a subtle ‘acer’ on the notch of the Swift. 

Greeting you on the inside is an expansive 16” OLED screen with tons of pixels and lots of color. The 3.2k screen refreshes up to 120Hz and can reach up to 400 nits of typical brightness. That’s not only a larger but also a faster display than the Swift Go 14. That being said, it has a similar 100% P3 coverage and ships with Display HDR 500 for an immersive viewing experience.

Performance and Ports

There are a number of processor configurations for the Swift Go 16. But, no matter your choice, all Meteor Lake Intel chips will ship with upgraded Arc graphics and a Neural Processing Unit (NPU). The middle-of-the-pack Core Ultra 7 155H variant is currently available in Nepal with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD.

Likewise, there are a number of ports on the 16-inch ultrabook. You get two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports with Power Delivery (PD) and Display Port (DP) support. Similarly, there are two type A ports, alongside an HDMI, a microSD reader, and a combined audio jack. The laptop charges via the Type-C ports and ships with a compatible 65W brick in the box.

Battery and Extras 

Under the hood, you’ll find a 65Wh battery running the show. You get a 1440p webcam with a privacy shutter while there’s also WiFi 7 support on the Acer Swift Go 16. Extras include Windows Hello login via fingerprint, a backlit keyboard, and a 180º hinge.
